'Sensu' has great, muted colours, great leaf shape, and when the wind blows, it has a fan-like wave to the leaves. In fact, the name means something to the effect of "moving fan".
'Sensu' leafs out with orange and bronze tones with the centre of the leaf lobes often a green or yellow colour. The colours can turn more to a green or olive green in the summer with some orange or red tones. Fall colours are orange-red or brick red. 'Sensu' is a smaller tree of the species and will grow to 8-10 tall in ten years.
