A little similar to 'Tsuma gaki', Acer palmatum 'Tsuma beni' has similar lime green leaves with red/purple edging in the spring. The leaves can cup upwards however, instead of droop, like 'Tsuma gaki'. The leaves become solid green in summer. Fall colour is typically red.
This cultivar has been around for close to 150 years of more. It will grow into a rounded bush up to about 10' tall and wide.
