Acer palmatum 'Fascination' has leaves very reminiscent of 'Omure yama'. Leaves appear in the spring with a yellow to orange colour becoming green afterwards. The branches of 'Fascination' can be marked with white striations (lines). Fall colours are orange-red. This tree should grow to about 25' tall or so, making it a large Japanese maple and a good choice as a specimen or focal tree in your garden.
