Thought to be a hybrid of a vine maple (Acer circinatum) and a palmatum, 'Ever Autumn' certainly may have this parentage because it has amazing fall colour much like vine maples do.
Attractive brown-bronze spring leaf colour with an excellent leaf shape, similar to some japonicum and shirasawanum trees. New growth in the summer has brilliant fall-like colours of gold, oranges and reds. And autumn brings an entire tree full of brilliant colours.
A fairly vigorous tree, 'Ever Autumn' can grow to 12-15' tall in ten years.
