Located near Nelson, BC, Simply Japanese Maples is a retail nursery specializing in mail-order sales of Japanese maples. We are the only Canadian retailer selling and shipping exclusively Japanese maples. What started as admiration for these amazing trees, quickly escalated to trying to figure out how we could surround ourselves with these trees! This is how our nursery came to be.

We offer online sales and shipping for 1 and 2 gallon potted trees.  3 gallon by special request. (Please contact first). For local purchasing opportunities, we have all container sizes of trees. Local purchase is by-appointment or during one of our occasional open house events.

Some of the more common Japanese maple varieties are readily found in most garden centres, so we prefer to offer more hard to find trees. There are hundreds of varieties/cultivars of Japanese maples and we are constantly amazed by the diversity. Currently, we proudly offer more than 60 different Japanese maples. And this list will continue to grow. If we don't have a tree in stock that you are seeking, ask us.
