'Tsuma gaki' translates to "painted nails/red nails", with it's red leaf lobe tips it makes sense why it is named as such. Leafing out in spring with bright yellow-green leaves with the red lobe tips that droop from the stems. The tip colour fades as summer progresses, and the leaves stand more horizontally. Fall colour is orange-red.
Grows to 10'x10' in fifteen years or so, and up to about 12' tall and wide over time.
