'Otome zakura' is grouped in with the Corallinium group of maples. They are characterized by early leaf-out and bright pink-red leaves. Who doesn't like that? Transitioning to orange and eventually summer green leaves. Fall colour is red and oranges.
Grows to about 10x8' in ten years.
