A newer red upright selection with bright red leaves. Interesting in that this tree has more purple coloured leaves initially and becoming more red as the leaves mature. If you prefer more purple toned leaves, choose a shadier location for you tree.
Expect 'Moonrise' to grow to about 12-14' in ten years, so a solid choice for a faster growing tree.
