This special dwarf has wonderful spring colour interest. Sometimes leafing out with pink tones and sometimes with orange-yellow colours. Bright orange fall colours.
Found as a seedling in South Carolina by Bill Taylor and named after his wife, then nurtured by the folks at Mr. Maple in North Carolina so see what potential the tree may have. 'Kristen's Star' is a perfect candidate for container, bonsai or small gardens since it may only reach 5' tall in fifteen to twenty years.
