A unique leaf, almost a cross between a palmatum and amoenum. Green or yellow leaves with red tips in the spring similar to Tsuma gaki. Fall colours can be a fiery red. This tree may grow to be 6-8' tall and wide in ten years. A great choice for bonsai, Acer palmatum 'Chuguji' tends to be dense and compact.
