Japanese Maples Have Friends, Too

I'm excited to announce that today we have added a new section on our inventory called, Companion Trees. This part of the inventory is all non-Japanese maple trees that go great in the garden along with your maples. Mainly conifers, a lot of slow-growing or dwarf types that work well in smaller spaces. And, we are also offering some smaller varieites of gingkos, too.

Why the addition? Conifers, not unlike Japanese maples, come in a wild array of amazing shapes, colours, sizes and so forth. And, they provide that winter interest that is sometimes lacking with deciduous tree like maples.

So, we're starting with a small selection right now, but intend to expand the offerings in the coming seasons. We're pretty excited about this and hope you will be as well.

Chris
