Acer palmatum 'Shaina' is a lovely dwarf tree whose origins can be traced to a broom growth on a 'Bloodgood'. And like all Japanese maples grown from brooms the result is quite attractive.
'Shaina' leafs out in spring a bright red colour, which becomes a darker red in the summer and maintains this colour for the better part of the growing season.
'Shaina' can grow to about 6' tall and wide. Be sure to find a space for this delightful tree.
